Bynel® Series (Coextrudable adhesive resins)

Versatile Adhesive Resin Joins Dissimilar Materials Join the “unjoinable” to optimize structural integrity and avoid delamination in films, bottles, tubes, and other applications.
DuPont™ Bynel® coextrudable adhesive resin gives manufacturers and converters powerful solutions for multi-layer adhesion needs. It is used as a tie layer, creating a strong bond between dissimilar materials in bottles, tubes, thermoformable sheets, films, and non-packaging uses such as piping and building panels.
Bynel® adhesive resin can be a cost- and process-efficient choice, available pre-compounded in a range of grades. It can help optimize barrier, heat-seal and other functionalities in coextruded blown & cast film, extrusion coating/lamination, cast sheet, coex tubing, and blow molding. Strong, flexible, interlayer adhesion supports replacing heavy glass or metal containers with lightweight, multi-layer barrier packaging, which can help reduce fossil fuel use (and costs) in distribution.

DuPont™ Appeel® (Peelable sealants)

Clean-Peeling, Solvent-Free Peelable Sealant Resins DuPont™ Appeel® helps make packages easy to open, while protecting contents against spoilage, leakage, contamination, and tampering. DuPont™ Appeel® peelable sealant resins offer predictable and repeatable heat-seal strengths for easy-open, clean-peeling, flexible lidding on rigid containers for yogurt, snacks, dry cereals, and more. Because Appeel® can seal to and peel from itself, it can also be used as a sealant in flexible structures, including bag-in-box and pouch, extending the convenience of easy peel to more packaging types. A cost-effective, high-quality solution for converters, Appeel® peelable sealant resins are available in a pre-compounded, one-bag solution that easily runs in a variety of conversion processes and seals to multiple substrates. This helps reduce the number of raw material SKUs kept in stock. And Appeel® peelable sealant resins eliminate the need to blend sealant materials onsite, saving production time.
